ABC Nut Butter

Try our very own nut butter today. Quick and easy to make and a great way to get some healthy fats into your diet.

 1 cup Almonds, raw, unsalted with skin
 ¾ cup Brazil nuts, raw, unsalted with skin
 1 cup Cashews, raw, unsalted

Add all ingredients into a food processor or blender

Blend on high for 3 minutes or until it is a consistency that you like (less time for more crunchy)

Transfer to a sterilised jar and store in a cook, dark pantry

  • This recipe produces about 410g of nut butter so make sure your jar is big enough.
  • To sterilise a jar, boil water in a kettle and then pour into jar and over lid.  Let dry upside down.  Be careful not to burn your fingers on the hot glass.  Use of a tea towel or oven mitts is recommended.
  • If you like a smoother consistency nut butter then you can add up to 1 Tbsp of oil (EVOO) when blending the nuts.  Nuts are naturally high in oil so you will likely find this is not necessary.
