Raw Nut and Date Balls

Super tasty and healthy fruit and nut balls that area high in fibre, magnesium, good quality fats and a little protein. They will stay fresh in the fridge for a week so a great alternative for those mid afternoon snacks.

 ¾ cup Medjool dates, pitted
 1 tbsp Raisins
 2 tbsp Pepitas ( pumpkin seeds)
 8 Brazil nuts
 ¾ cup Almonds, raw
 6 tsp Chia seeds
 Dash of extra water if needed

Finely chop all ingredients and add to a medium bowl. (You can also process in a food processor)

Mix all ingredients together until well combined and holding together

If necessary, add a little water to bind the ingredients - a dash at a time to avoid being too soggy

Place chia seeds into a shallow bowl

Roll mixture into small, bite sized balls

Roll in chia seeds until evenly coated

Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week

You can also use a food processor to finely process the ingredients for a finer texture.
